When TriBeCa Restaurant opened on Worcester's 'Restaurant Row,' the business owners knew they needed an online resource that would set their restaurant apart from others. Their website features pictures of the beautiful interior and unique dining choices to draw the potential customer in. Once on the site, visitors are able to view menus, wine lists, make reservations right from their home or office computer, and even purchase gift cards through an e-commerce shopping cart.
When Willy's Pizza approached DLG Results, they already had a website with an e-commerce shopping cart. But the business owner wanted to do something to appeal specifically to his target audience: college students. From there, DLG Results decided to go in the direction of viral marketing. DLG Results created a Myspace profile as well as a Facebook profile for Willy's pizza in order to get a buzz going about the new pizza place opening up in Worcester. DLG Results maintains these pages, adding friends and creating groups to give members special internet deals. In addition, Willy's Pizza has also begun investing in pay-per-click advertising on Facebook based on network and location in order to appeal to a specific audience.
For a larger venue such as Boston Billiard Club, DLG Results was able to tackle the complex project of coordinating information for several locations throughout New England. In doing so, DLG Results created several custom applications for Boston Billiard club, including a calendar module that allows an administrative user to add events to the calendar either individually if the event is tied to one specific location, or to add an event to all locations. In addition, DLG Results also created a custom application for mobile users. After Boston Billiard Club collects contact information from their customers, their telephone numbers are entered into a database. Afterwards, Boston Billiard Club can send mobile updates to these customers informing them of special events, promotions, and giveaways. |
